About Me

I am an Atlanta transplant living in Portland, Oregon. For twelve years I have had the great fortune of working on inspiring projects, with some truly inspiring creatives. I came into instructional design by accident after a fulfilling career in graphic design. I love design - love the process of building beauty with the skill of my hands. But graphic design alone couldn't fill what was missing from my career. 

For as long as I can remember, I craved the opportunity to inspire others. I wanted to lend some of my own excitement for any subject to others and see them get excited about that subject in turn. Instructional design became an outlet that gave me the opportunity to not only continue to create beauty, but also to inspire adult learners from various backgrounds ranging from remote workers, to finance specialists, to home care professionals.
